To place an order, add an item to your cart and proceed to check out. Once your order has processed, you will receive an order confirmation e-mail. Please note, once an order has been placed, we are unable to make changes to the order details or delivery address. Please ensure all details are correct prior to purchasing.

SHIPPING & DELIVERY

DOMESTIC SHIPPING (WITHIN South Africa)

We offer FREE door to door delivery for all orders in South Africa.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING (OUTSIDE South Africa)

We offer worldwide delivery to over 220 destinations across the globe, within 3 – 7 working days. All international orders will be fulfilled by DHL. As the delivery costs are dependent on your location, please contact us on info@vergodesigns.com and we will facilitate your order and coordinate delivery.

DUTIES AND TAXES

All orders shipped outside of South Africa will be subject to duties and taxes upon receipt. Payment of these will be facilitated by your local DHL branch. Please note that the duty and sales taxes are non-refundable through VERGO Designs. However, you may be able to recover these by contacting your local customs bureau directly.

TRACKING YOUR DELIVERY

A tracking link directing you to an online portal will be sent to you via SMS or email once your order has been shipped.

ESTIMATED DELIVERY TIME

Orders will be packed and shipped next business day. National deliveries will take 1 – 2 business days, whilst international orders will take 3 – 7 business days.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

VERGO Designs will accept returns for handbag orders for refund in their original condition within 14 days of receipt of your order. Returned handbags must also include the original box, dust bags with original tags attached. Handbags with any sign of wear will not be accepted for a return or refund. If you would like to exchange your handbag for an alternate size or colour, please e-mail info@vergodesigns.com.

Request for Return: South Africa

If you would like to request a return, please email us at info@vergodesigns.com with your order number. Once you have submitted your request, a return authorization will be sent to you within 72 hours with return instructions.

VERGO Designs reserves the right to refuse any return on merchandise that does not meet the above requirements. If your return is not accepted, it will be sent back to you at your expense and a refund will not be issued. We appreciate your understanding in this regard.

Original shipping costs are non–refundable, and a R‌199.00 fee will be applied if you choose to use our domestic return courier, to be deducted from any refund due.

Request for Return: International

All items must be returned in perfect condition, not used and with the original packaging and tags. We are unable to offer an exchange or refund on items that are scratched, damaged or not in their original packaging. Customs or any additional charges for returning the product will not be covered by VERGO Designs and any charges will be payable by the customer if incurred by VERGO Designs and will be subtracted from any refund due.

If an item is returned to us because a customer refused to pay for any import taxes or customs duties due, VERGO Designs will seek to recover from the customer all costs or any fees incurred by VERGO Designs. Please note that if you refuse to pay custom duties upon delivery, a refund will only be issued after the product has been returned to us. Normally the return of the product to VERGO Designs takes 1-2 weeks, but depending on the country’s customs officers, the VERGO Designs product could be held by the boarder for up 10 weeks, VERGO Designs is unable to offer a refund until the bag is safely returned to us.

REFUNDS

If your order was placed within South Africa, all sales taxes will be refunded. For orders placed outside the South Africa, delivery costs, customs duties and sales taxes are non-refundable through VERGO Designs. However, you may be able to recover the duties and taxes by contacting your local customs bureau directly. As this may not be available for all countries, we recommend that you hire a customs broker if you wish to claim back duties on returned merchandise. We do not cover any additional bank charges charged by the local banks or any additional shipping and handling charges paid on your original shipment, and these will be deducted in the event you return one of our products.

ONLINE PAYMENTS

All payments made on www.vergodesigns.com are secure using PayFast.

Payfast offers a variety of payment methods to suit all customers: instant EFT, credit cards, Masterpass, mobicred, debit cards and Bitcoin. PayFast is a PCI DSS Level 1 Service Provider – the highest security level possible.

Payment via bank transfer, check or COD are not accepted. We do not accept orders via telephone at this time.

GUARANTEE

All VERGO Designs products and materials are made in South Africa. Your satisfaction is of great value to us, and we will repair any and all manufacturing defects in as timely a period as possible. Our vegetable tanned leather products are made with natural, untreated vegetable tanned leather. This means each skin is unique in its own specific coloring, markings, and striations, and the surface is susceptible to scratching. Variations in surface and scratching are not viewed as defects.

Manufacturing defects are assessed on a case by case basis with a valid proof of purchase from www.vergodesings.com. Faults presented within the first year of use will be considered and addressed as soon as possible. VERGO Designs product guarantee is valid for one year after purchase date.
